This hearty, wholesome healthy bread is rich in flavour and packed with seeds - try pumpkin, sunflower, poppy or sesame seeds!
This bread bakes up super soft and is perfect for sandwiches. I have to admit, baking a bread loaf is one of the most rewarding things to do. It can be a labor of love, but there is something so satisfying about it. It’s guaranteed to make you feel super-proud of yourself!! Let's get baking.

1 large loaf

prep time - 15 minutes
rest time- 2 hour 20 minutes
cook time - 35-40 minutes
total time - 3 hour 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup milk(warm)
2 tbsp sugar
1.5 tsp instant dry yeast
3 cup wheat flour
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
½ cup water
½ tsp butter
1 tsp milk to brush
2 tbsp seeds of your choice( you can use sesame seeds, poppy seeds, flexseeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds)
WORKING THE MAGIC:
In a large mixing bowl take warm milk. Add sugar and yeast, Mix well and rest for 5 minutes.
Further add wheat flour, salt, oil and 1tbsp mixed seeds to the mixture. Also add water and continue to knead for 10 minutes or till the dough turns light, airy, and chewy. Fold the dough and tuck well.
Place the kneaded dough into greased bowl and cover with cling wrap or moist cloth and let it rest for 2 hours in warm place.
Meanwhile, Grease the loaf pan with butter.
After 2 hours, take the dough out and knead by folding from corners and roll tight. Place the dough into greased bread loaf pan and press from each side.
Brush the dough with milk and sprinkle with the remaining mixed seeds. Cover with moist cloth and rest for 20 minutes or till dough rise just an inch above the loaf pan.
Place the loaf pan in preheated oven and bake at 350F/180C for 35-40 minutes.
Remove immediately from pan onto a cooling rack. let it cool for 2 hours before slicing.
