Shamrock Smoothie

There is no better way than Smoothie to pack a ton of fruits and vegetables into your diet. This delicious plant based smoothie, which takes only minutes to prepare, includes kale, kiwi, banana and orange to make sure that your body gets the nutrients it needs.


Here's my healthy take on the classic Shamrock Shake uses fresh kale and juicy kiwi to achieve the fun and festive color that everyone loves. Using fresh orange to cut down the sharpness of kale, also makes this smoothie extra tangy and refreshing.

You'd never be able to guess that this smoothie is packed with Zucchini.

Have you ever thought about adding zucchini to smoothies? Now you will!! & Before I add zucchini directly to my smoothie I wash and chop, then freeze them and they are ready to be blended into smoothies.

🍽 S E R V I N G S

2 servings


INGREDIENTS:


1 frozen banana

1 kiwi, peeled

1/2 cup kale, tightly packed

1 orange

1/2 cup frozen zucchini

1 tsp flax-seed meal

1 tsp hemp seeds

1 cup plant based milk

1/2 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice (optional)


INSTRUCTIONS:


Add all the ingredients to a highly powered blender and process until smooth. pour into glass & enjoy as healthy breakfast or snack.
