Rose petal jam or Gulkand is a powerful antioxidant-rich ingredient that helps correct gut health, regulates healthy digestion, and helps with reducing acidity and cooling the body. According to Ayurveda, chewing betel leaves/paan after meals eases digestion as it increases the secretion of digestive juices, reduces bloating of the stomach, relieves constipation, and destroys intestinal parasites.
